Exciting times – the beginning of something new
2016 has been an extraordinary and busy year so far with many new and exciting projects, clients and opportunities. It is only about to get much busier as I embark on bringing to a conclusion a project that I have been working on for the past eighteen months, although in reality it has been much longer than that. Over the past two years, I have spent a significant amount of time writing to bring to conclusion my very first book.
This has involved lots of time researching, interviewing business owners and more importantly writing; and then editing and rewriting. And just when you think you have finished, more editing and rewriting!
It is something that I am immensely proud of, not just the finished product but the dedication and determination to keep going even when it would have been much easier to just give up. It has been a long process and writing overall can be a lonely and very emotional process. However, I have had much assistance on the way particularly from my writing mentor – Claire Scobie, an amazing and very talented writer.
After a very long time of writing proposals, discussion with publishers and some very excellent feedback, I can announce that the manuscript is in the final stages of coming to fruition. So my big announcement is that my manuscript is in the publishing phase and about to become a book!
Stay tuned for more exciting information in the coming months when I announce the title of the book among many other things. And thank many individuals who have been part of this journey. However, for now it is just time to pause and reflect and say thank you for new beginnings.
